Gnarly Redwood Tree

Vacation was fabulous, but I sure did miss our furs, especially the host of this blog, Ry. He apparently was depressed enough about us being gone that he didn’t do a lot of grooming, so we’ve spent the last few days eliminating small mats. He’s back to his beautiful, chatty self, sitting on my desk while I work. Yep, buddy, I missed it too.

The majority of our travels was to attend a 7-day retreat at the Sukhasiddhi Foundation in Novato, CA. It was awesome. If you want to know more, contact me - you can also check them out at www.sukhasiddhi.org.

Another part of our travels was to connect with friends old and new. We got to see Emma, a Fell Pony we owned for a while, her young charge and his mom and dad. Emma is in the absolute best place, and looks fabulous! We were so happy to be able to spend time with her human family and her “sister”, another Fell pony who happens to be gray!

Emma loves her boy - she was like “oh, hai.” To me.

Then we got to drive up the coast, see some friends we’ve known for years, and spend some time in the redwoods. Magical!

My honey inside a very. Large. Redwood. (The fire was before humans started documenting fires. This tree is probably over 1000 years old.)

In Spokane, I connected with a friend I had never met in person, but had talked to her animals multiple times. Here she is with Rory, who was the love of Joy Turner’s life. Joy never got to meet Rory in person, so it was so great to meet my friend and this very special horse (and also her other two horses, Joe and Isaac).

Rory, with his stablemate Joe behind him, and my dear friend.

Wanted to connect with another friend near Couer d’Alene, but it was so late when we got in it didn’t seem fair to text her - we connected via text the next day. Next trip! Or - come to Colorado! (You know who you are.)

Then we hightailed it for home. I’ll get back to regular posts on this blog next week.

Oh - and all that traveling had me thinking about session pricing - it’s going back up to $97 for 30 minutes as of August 1. That’s still lower than what it was at one time ($125). I hope to be talking to lots of you!

If you’d like regular monthly sessions, consider a subscription. We don’t just talk to animals - we talk about anything you want, and to anyone you want. $67 for 45 minutes, $37 for 20 minutes. Here’s a link: https://www.harmonysheartanimals.com/subscriptions

Glad to be back with you!
